Tim Horton's Solution

As of right now, there is no solution to Tim Horton's. However, the company has introduced an idea called the "cup-to-tray" program.
This programs insists on using the Tim Horton's coffee cup and recycling it to create carry out trays. This concept has started in Nova Scotia and is slowly making its way across Canada. However, what there are other complications that comes with this "solution" as well.
Firstly, the recycling idea creates separate bins for Tim Horton's coffee cups. Many consumers already have a hard time organizing their litter into existing disposal bins another bin causes more confusion for consumers.
Secondly, these recycling bins will only be available at Tim Horton's locations inside the restaurant and at their drive-thru locations. Majority of coffee drinkers are grabbing a coffee before work or school. There is a very high chance that they are not going to sit in the restaurant and drink their coffee. This makes one wonder how efficient and useful would these new recycling bins even be then?
Thirdly, we have to think about how this affects the coffee cup industry as a whole. How will other companies be able to implement this idea? Can these recycling bins exist with the rest of the recycling bins?
